Bali
Bali has always been among the world’s most popular tourist destination. It, known as the Island of Gods, possesses an amazing beaches and coral reefs, majestic palaces and temples with its unique backgrounds, stunning forested volcanic mountains, complex irrigation system to grow rice through wet-field cultivation, complemented by an array of beautiful flora and fauna.
Balinese culture has been strongly influenced by Indian, Chinese, and particularly Hindu culture from the beginning, around the 1st century AD. The life of the people in Bali evolves around their daily rituals. Their predecessors have taught them the skills how to prepare specific offerings and delicacy, to make and wear special costumes with elaborate designs, perform particular dances and often create unique woodcarvings, sculptures or utensils depending on the type of the ceremony they attend to.
Bali is undeniably the home of remarkable tradition, religious ceremonies, culture and art that are passed on from one generation to the next as they are strongly embedded in their everyday life.
